This page explains what happens to your data when you visit this website, which presents Stazione, a product by Sidera Foundry. The short version: the page itself collects nothing about you. No accounts, no forms, no analytics, no advertising, no cookies.
Who is responsible
The data controllers are Luca Mazzoni and Leonardo Di Berardino, the two private individuals behind Sidera Foundry, as joint controllers. You can reach us at stazione@siderafoundry.com about anything in this policy.
What we process, and why
- Server logs. To deliver the page and keep it secure, the servers of our hosting provider automatically record technical data for every request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the browser and device type, and the referring page. We use them only to run the site and to detect and stop abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). They are kept only for the short period set by our hosting provider, and in any case no longer than 30 days, unless we need them to investigate an attack.
- Emails you send us. If you write to us, we use your address and your message to answer you and to follow up on what you asked. Legal basis: steps you asked us to take before a possible agreement, and our legitimate interest in answering (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep the conversation as long as it is useful, and no longer than 24 months after the last message, unless the law requires otherwise.
We don't use your data for profiling or automated decisions, we don't sell it and we don't share it with advertisers.
What the page does not do
No cookies, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting, no analytics. Fonts, scripts and images are served from this website, so loading the page does not send your data to anyone else. The only thing the page keeps is a small note in your browser that you closed the cookie notice, described in the Cookie Policy.
Links to other sites
The Patreon button and any other external link take you to sites with their own privacy policies. Nothing is sent to them before you click.
Who else handles the data
Our hosting provider (Vercel Inc., USA) and our email provider (Aruba S.p.A., Italy) process data on our behalf, under a data processing agreement and only to provide their service. If either of them processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or by the Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format (Articles 15 to 21 GDPR). Write to stazione@siderafoundry.com: we answer within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or the authority of the country where you live or work.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 14, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
